Amy and Bill Lyons
"Just the Two of Us"

Amy and Bill have a half century or
so singing experience behind them. Everything from coffeehouses to the Brockton
Fair, churches, Grange Halls, Senior Centers, schools, libraries, you name it "just
the two of us" have done it! They have performed on stage, radio and
television with equal ease.
TheY sing a mixed bag - folk songs,
blues and early country with guitar, banjola, native american drum - anything
that sounds appropriate as accompaniment. amy's harmony is exceptional and they
have an easy style that seems to captivate their audiences.
We can't neglect their original
songs. amy's Christmas carol, "I knelt before the baby",
has gone all over the world. She's been writing blues, humorous, and topical
songs that run the gamut of human emotions. Bill too, picks up the pen from time
to time. One of his anti-draft songs, "Letter Edged in Khaki",
is in the prestigious Library of Congress and "Bag on the Table" was
published in Sing Out and recorded on Capitol Records.
They have an easy acoustic style,
but when occasion demands, they have their own sound equipment to make sure you
catch every note.
